I think that LSU’s brass has never been serious about hiring a home run when it came down to men’s basketball. I guess being a football school has discouraged AD’s to just fill the basketball coaching position with just about anyone.

It’s pretty much all about being as cheap as possible with Woody and basketball. It’s the real reason Wade was fired and if you look at the cuts that were made for the recruiting budget and the basketball operations people within the admin it’s obvious. Still if you had anyone that knows basketball around you could make a cheap hire that could still coach but we don’t have a single person in that capacity. It’s complete negligence on Woodys part.
