And so many times it was third and long. I don’t know how many times I was looking for some kind of blitz on those third and long downs. It takes time to run a route to pick up a first down in those situations. So blitz to shorten the time the quarterback and receiver have to complete the pass. But it was almost exclusively only rushing 4. I know the DC didn’t trust the secondary. But try something different….what you are trying wasn’t working.
