Had something similar happen to me yesterday. I wanted to try new barbershop in town. Went online to make an appointment & they wanted my credit card info. I understand their reasoning (wanted to charge for "no-shows") but I don't trust a barber shop with my cc info.

The fact she even "sounded" offended is a red flag to me. Whenever they aren't nice when any question is asked makes me skittish. Imagine the attitude if there was a problem with the service.
