I was there.

Tackled Arch for a safety and the Ole Miss punt defense team couldn’t come close to catching Tommy Casanova and Craig Burns.

I was at that game as well as a ten year old sitting in the South End Zone Upper Deck with my Dad, brother and sister. That was the night Archie played with a broken arm, Tommy Casanova ran two punts back for a touchdown and Craig Burns for another and it rained oranges on the field. One of the games I'll never forget!

Crazy looking at the size and athleticism of major college athletes then vs today.

Time for me to stop bragging to the youngsters about playing college ball. Hell, I probably wouldn’t have made most high school teams today.

My first game in Tiger stadium the Tigers won either 70 or 77 to 0 I think it was against Ohio Bobcats. Sometime back in the 70’s. I was so young I thought we were playing Ohio St. and said to my dad LSU must be the best team in the country LOL

Big win for the Tigers. My dad was #93 and played defensive end.

I was there! Archie Manning was a warrior and I almost felt sorry for him. Three part returns for touchdowns it's something we will probably never see again.

I was there also (sophomore) ; we beat the hell out of Archie Manning and coach Johnny Vaught ! This sent us to the Orange bowl(also there) to play Nebraska. In my opinion this was the high point of Cholly Macs' coaching career at LSU.
