He said he voted for Penix for the Heisman. His reasoning: 13 of Daniels’ touchdowns came against Grambling and Georgia St. Plus Daniels lost 3 games.

Did y’all know Jayden played defense too? News to me! What a tool. I hope the media isn’t using the reasoning of this moron.

It’s funny when people bring up well such and such had this number of TDs vs these 3 cupcakes. Like everyone plays cupcakes in college football.

Tulsa, Michigan state, Arizona state, and Stanford were real powerhouses Penix had to deal with

Why does a baseball personality get a heisman vote?

So take those games out and Daniels still accounts for 37 TD's in 10 games while Penix accounted for 36 in 13 games.

It is just excuses and gives them an out to vote for who they want to, regardless of there being only 1 truly deserving recipient this year.

It made me sick that so many people "had to watch" the Pac-12 championship game to make their decision. There was no reasonable outcome to that game that would have put Nix/Penix over JD.

Take out those TDs from those games and Daniels still has more TDs than Penix.

Daniels worst 3 games this year are better than the season average for Penix.

It's why the Heisman is not a sure thing
It's all on the whims of voters with their own agendas

The average poster on this board knows 10x more about CFB than Russo

And that’s probably being generous to him

I never understood the appeal of this nitwit.

I lived in the NYC area during the 1990's when he had a radio show with Mike Francessa on WFAN (sports station in NY). The show was a yelling and screaming match every day.

How the hell did this dolt get a gig on MLB Network, and how does a baseball show host get a vote for the Heisman winner?

What a joke.

I honestly can’t listen to him. He yells way too much. And if he disagrees with you, he yells so much that the caller can’t speak or get their opinion in.

Look if you want a take about any NYC or MLB team I’m fine with going to Mad Dog.

That he has a Heisman vote is insane.

Russo wasted his vote because Daniels is going to win.
