After the NY6 it's all about matchups, prospective ticket sales, and who's been where more recently. There is no rule about where you placed in the SEC going to specific bowls anymore. It would have been our third time in Orlando in 12 months. That's why we didn't go to the Citrus Bowl

Apparently, it's not. Tennessee, who finished worse than LSU, gets a better matchup than LSU. Why?
Couldn't they have put Iowa in the ReliaQuest, and Wisky in the Citrus?
