The human polls were responsible for 2/3 of the BCS formula. If they all had Bama at #2, it would override the computers.

But Bama wouldn't have been No. 2 if Okie State hadn't lost that road game against a mediocre Iowa State team.

while this is true using the polls which are human but with far more voters is less likely to be manipulated like a room of 12 ppl in one location are.
