Good grief.

Imagine considering yourself a legitimate political analyst or journalist and writing opinion pieces about how the popularity of a pop-star, who largely appeals to girls under the voting age, can swing an election for a doddling old man with clear signs of senile dementia to save the planet from a supervillain who made cameo appearances in Christmas movies.

If the idiot that penned this piece shot themselves tomorrow, I'd nod my head like Tom Hanks when they decided to defend the bridge in Saving Private Ryan.

I’ve got some bad news for you…there’s lots who are voting age who are obsessed with her. Males too, some who are straight. I don’t understand it, but it’s there.

Maybe I’ve become completely jaded, but all one has to do is read the Facebook comments under a news article, and I don’t know if you can completely discount having a couple celebrities, Swift and others, whom droves of people in our country are obsessed over help swing an election to the favor of anyone.

Biden being old and senile may help negate some of that effect, which is why it would concern me if someone younger and more articulate like Gavin Newsome or Michelle Obama were to replace his candidacy. You’d have people like Swift dancing with them on stage showing how “in tune and hip” they are for America versus the “old men in the Republican Party”.

We are living in Idiocracy.

Not saying this specifically to you, but Trump supporters should be wary of criticizing the power of celebrities in politics.
