Not really. Georgia lost and dropped five spots. Florida State won and dropped only one spot. Be a little less dramatic please.

That’s totally normal, right?

So a 10 point win over the #15 team is considered bad now?

In everybjther situation for the history of football that would be considered a good win. This year it was considered as bad as a loss

ACC #2 lost at home 8 days ago while technically still in CFP contention to SEC #9.

It actually happens all the time. We dropped after we beat South Florida.

On a more serious note, TCU went from #3 to #6 in the final rankings of the 2014 season after beating Iowa State 55-3 in their final game of the season. How do you think they felt?

Yes and underdogs never win in sports. Great amazing argument, man. You just solved everything

Not sure what you’re trying to say. This isn’t a movie.

Being underdogs to the 4 teams in clearly indicates that they got it right.

In 2014, #3 TCU won 55-3 and dropped to #6. Precedent was set then.

They suck and you barely won

Neutral site, #14, double digit win

Drop in rankings

Find me another example like that, please.

TCU in 2014. The final week of the regular season. They beat Iowa State 55-3. They dropped from #3 to #6 and got shut out of the playoffs.

That’s the other most egregious part of all of this.

Had the committee bumped FSU down last week for “not looking good” for beating Florida, they likely would have had a different game plan vs Louisville.

They literally played grind it out/protect the ball football with a backup QB in the rain. At the end they played for a FG to run time and go up two scores, and knelt the ball in the red zone at the end of the games

Were they really out no matter what, or what was the mythical “eye test” line of how much they had to beat Louisville by?

The more you drill down into this logic the more absurd it gets, unless you just admit it’s an illusion to even consider the ACC a power 5 conference

This is like the guy on here earlier today saying a 31 yard pass is not a miracle

I have full confidence we will stay consistent here

Should bama only beating lsu by 14 when lsu lost their starting qb for a qtr been looked at as a poor harming performance?

Washington and Alabama were both underdogs this weekend and you don’t understand what I’m trying to say?

If you are insinuating that Florida State is a better football team than Alabama and Washington then I can’t help you.

They played far superior opponents than Louisville and won.

I can’t understand it for you.

That doesn’t mean they would lose to any of them either.
