This wouldn't have happened in the BCS era. But now with the committee, subjectivity, bias, and financial factors all come into play.

The fact that a 13-0 ACC Champion got left out is insane. This is a broken, corrupt sport. Period. NIL, officiating bias, committee bias, shattered conferences and rivalries due to realignment, etc.

It's really becoming harder and harder me to to GAF about this sport at this point.

The committee didn't do the right thing.

Now they should do the right thing Japanese style.

I hate the Gumps as much as anybody (I live in gulf shores), but FSU without Travis wouldn’t be undefeated.
Gumps will win it all, but Saban will retire afterwards.

There's no reason to even play the games.

Just look at recruiting rankings and take viewership into account at the beginning of the season and there's your top 12.

There. 3 months and hundreds of ACLs saved.

Ok but they’re fixing it next year with a 12 team playoff

So if the Chiefs clinch the 1 seed and Mahommes goes down they should miss the playoffs?

It's fixed next year. But in 2021 the presidents of ACC, Big 10 and Pac 12 all voted against 12 team playoff so screw them. 2004 Undefeated Auburn was left out and USC beat the crap out of Oklahoma 55-19. Auburn had Cadillac Williams and Ronnie Brown, both starred in the NFL, would have beat the crap out of USC or Oklahoma. 12 team playoff stops the madness.

Its 12 teams next season. That fixes a lot. Of Course #13 will be complaining next year. Alabama is the better team.

I’ve started rooting for CFB to completely collapse last several years. I’d vote for a president who says he will end it by force

It's already fixed starting next year.

BCS rankings weren’t compromised subjectivity? Bias?
Really?

You do realize that 2/3’s of a teams’s BCS point total came from two human polls? The Harris Interactive Poll comprised 1/3 of the point total as did the coach’s poll. The remaining 1/3 came from computer rankings which the BCS committee continuously tried to influence by removing or threatening to remove different computer rankings if the organization submitting the rankings didn’t factor certain arbitrary requirements into their ranking algorithm.

Even in the BCS era, an undefeated 2004 Auburn, SEC Champions were left out to allow USC & Texas to play for a title.
