Why does everyone keep ignoring TX loss to Oklahoma? Yes the win H2H is important, but TX has a conference loss, and didn’t beat the #1 ranked team. You are saying Texas’s win over bama in wk 2 is more impressive than last nights win over the #1 ranked GA?

GA was ranked number 1 due to past performance in previous years. They didn’t look like world beaters this year at all. And we see the rankings manipulated all the time so they can promote a top ten matchup during the season. So we have two teams with one loss each now. Yes Texas lost to Oklahoma in a rivalry game. Bama almost lost to Auburn in a rivalry game. So who did Bama actually lose to? TEXAS! Texas should get the nod with having already beat this team this year.

and don't forget that UGAs only loss is to a top-10 team, in an "extra" game. Using the metric you stated is the logic for both Gumps and Shorthorns to be left out an UGA to stay in. UGAs loss is better than UTs loss and Bama lost to UT.

I hope they both get left out. frick the SEC. Whatever helps LSU is what I want. Both of them sitting at home helps us in recruiting.
