I’ve enjoyed the USFL, but this seems to be a sign that both it and the XFL are dying.

I'm not sure how DC did attendance wise, but the other three XFL teams appeared to have decent crowds. St Louis did extremely well.

On the USFL side, Houston didn't play at home but the XFL team in Houston appeared to draw decent crowds at UH's stadium. Birmingham did okay, Memphis and Michigan were a little less than Birmingham.

I would think all these teams will play in their home cities in the new league. I'd like to see a strong Spring League, but history is not on their side.

I have very much enjoyed the USFL and hope it continues. I could not get into the XFL games; so, I hope this effort is more USFL than XFL.

They were never alive. A pro football league will never work in this country. NFL is too big and too established. People want to watch the best of the best. Not a bunch of rejects.
