re: Is hunter orange a legit safety issue

I faithfully wear orange, even though I’m hunting on private/leased land. I do, however, question the value in wearing orange when I walk out 30 min after sunset…if someone is taking a shot at me, they have to be shooting at a flashlight, or noise with light, neither case would orange help. And after a night hunt is the only time I’ve been stopped and checked for orange by WLF.
