You make it sound like the higher seeds don't have an advantage. They do. They have to play one less game. If you are going to say this, then why not have the national championship game be a home game as well?

Because it’s simply following the precedent of the Super Bowl where the championship game is a “spectacle” at a neutral site. I’m not sure what’s so hard to understand about that. It’s not rocket science.
