Ellis & A. Taylor were interviewed c. 1980 for Brown's The Love You Make (1983), but are barely mentioned in the book itself. I'm not sure Ellis is mentioned at all.

In the updated one () Ellis is mentioned by Taylor and Dick James. James actually vouched for how high-integrity Ellis was.

I'm reading Derek Taylor's book now.

I still go back to how random and spotty the mentions of Neil are by EVERYONE. It's like you'll almost forget he exists, and then out of nowhere he'll be the central figure in diffusing a major incident.

The A. Taylor book had an awesome anecdote when they were on the quixotic Greek private island adventure. I guess really late one night it was just Taylor, Mal, John and George. George played some Indian shite on his ukelele and all the guys did the chants in the moonlight. Just imagine.
