I just came across this podcast interview of Michael Lindsay-Hogg from a couple of years ago:

It was really great. He told a story about the movie Two of Us that was awesome.

Book report:

Ellis was yet another homosexual insider at the Beatles management company. He was very much a background man, a lawyer who looked over contracts and performed similar duties. He did not like pop music & did not especially care for the Beatles, particularly John Lennon.

Ellis disputes the John-Brian rumors (as did Alistair Taylor).

I've posted before that these insider memoirs say little about other Apple insiders. Ellis is something of an exception to that, as he does go into a few paragraphs on Peter Brown. They apparently didn't like each other, though the veddy British Ellis is reluctant to say that outright. FWIW Ellis & Brown were at Brian's country home the day he died in London. They were to be guests at a rentboy party Brian never made it to.

This book is very light on Beatle music, heavier on Brian gossip, and VERY heavy on business details. If you're dying to know more about the Northern Songs stock deal, this is for you. If not, even the most maniacal Beatlemaniac can skip it w/a clear conscience.
