Jayden's completions percentage of over 20 yards is almost the same as Penix Jr entire completion percentage

It's honestly statistically not even close.

These voters should ask themselves, who would you pick first in the draft? That should help them determine who the winner is, besides the obvious stats.

They should honestly just look at top 10, 15, or 25 ranked teams for Heisman and grade it off of that. I think this arbitrary “well, his team went 11-1 in a different conference and may make the playoffs” BS is just that… BS.

At least make it formal. Only consider Heisman candidates from the top 15 teams. At that point it’s just about who’s the best player.

UF is ranked 69th in total defense. They are the 10th best defense we faced this year.
UF would be the 3rd best defense Oregon faced all year.

Georgia St is ranked 116th, and is by far our worst opponenet. Oregon played 3 conference foes who are worse than GaSt.
9 of Oregon's opponents are ranked in the bottom 50 in the country, and that doesn't include FCS Portland State.
7 of LSU's oppoenents are ranked in the top 50.

They have played 2 teams all year worth a shite. 2.
Must be nice to play GaSt and UF 10 times a year. JD would have 6,000+ yards of total offense and 70+ TDs if he played Oregon's schedule.

That’s great and all - but how many signature wins does he have?

I wish strength of schedule was first, followed by total yards, total TDs, and YPP. Those tell the story the most.

I couldn't agree more. The sad part is it's not even close, but politics always seems to screw things up. Seattle is a huge TV market and, of course, NIKE is basically the University of Oregon and I'm sure they're going to be pushing Nix big time!

I look at it this way, if all three were on the same team, who would be the starter? If you took a poll among college coaches, there is no doubt that most would pick Daniels immediately.

Daniels can run and pass and the other two are strictly passers!
