He is going to kill it in the league. He much quicker than Stroud but they both move well to create time, space and yards.

JD is the best draft eligible QB this cycle but it won’t reflect that.

They’ll prop up Caleb Williams who has terrible qualities as a starting QB, Drake Maye who went MIA this year and I’m sure 1 or 2 others who have bigger hands or some dumb shite

100% agree. NFL scouting of qbs has become a joke. They completely ignore whether the guy can actually play in order to obsess over some meaningless physical attribute.

Stroud is proving that he can be elite.

Jayden could be special too.

But I don't think it's a good comparison.

Stroud is very much a pocket passer.

If Jayden keeps improving his accuracy (his accuracy has been great this year, not slighting him) with his running ability he could be special in the league. He seems like a workhorse and a leader

They're not even close to the same style of player. And Stroud is proving to be a very good NFL QB. It's a bit premature to assume JD will be that good

did you watch stroud today, all they talked about was him escaping the pocket and creating space... watch todays game

It can depend on who drafts him. You get drafted by the wrong system, and it could screw up your career for a good four or five years.

Not for me. Daniels is one of the best prospects I’ve ever seen. I don’t give a shite where he’s mocked, he will be a franchise QB in the NFL, and any team that passes on him is going to regret it.

I said the exact same thing about Patrick Mahomes based on watching him in the bowl game against LSU.

Daniels will be the number one player picked, or else a mistake will have been made.

if he wants any longevity he’ll have to curb a lot of the running

Stroud might win MVP this year. Let’s wait until these drafted and can read defenses.

That's not really Daniels. Daniels usually passes from the pocket or escapes and runs. Stroud is more like Burrow or Mahomes as a runner. They have decent mobility but dont really take off too much. They just move around in the pocket to buy time to throw.

No it’s not. The only comp JD has in the NFL is Lamar Jackson.

Not saying he is as good now or will be as good but that’s exactly who Daniels game is similar to.

MVP? He is having a good year for a rookie but pump the breaks. Sam Howell is having just as good of a year as him.

If JDs camp is smart, they will be making that comparison often. Stroud is the best QB prospect since Burrow.

On another note, earlier this week Stroud went on record as saying JD is his pick for the Heisman and voiced some significant support for him. This is interesting since his old teammate, Marvin Harrison, has been in the conversation.

My only reservation about JD's running is if he can take the physical hits from professional defenses. He has shown be very tough, but has a very slight build for taking physical abuse from this studs in the NFL. I hope he learns quickly to take the protective slide - he seems a little hesitant to do that in the college game.

Looking forward to seeing him square off against Burrow
