I have seriously lost a few years off of my life because of our third down defense

We could not stop anybody on third down. It was the most frustrating thing I have ever seen from an LSU football team. Crazy how inept we are on third down.

I stopped watching our defense, turn on something else for 5 minutes, figure they will have scored by then.

Most semi prevent defenses never stop anything, they just slow down the inevitable. And that is what our 3rd down defense was most of the year. Doesn't get any more inept than that.

It's not a question of 3rd down. It's a question of every down.
If the team we are playing decides to pass the ball, it's a first down probably 80% of the time.

I had to turn off the game for a while. I was cussing out of control due to the Defense and I realized I had to step away. I am not young anymore, but still get too emotionally involved in LSU games (imagine that!). Don't know if the rumor is true that CBK either took over the D or gave House instructions on what he wanted in the 2nd half, but I have zero confidence in House and his D staff. CBK has some big decisions to make on the D side.
