Stoops is a program builder who would be great at a Kentucky or Vanderbilt where he just needs to take an awful program and grind out 7/8 win seasons and consistently make a bowl
He is walking into something else here where 100k people show up to ga,es, we expect top 5ish recruiting classes, and won't be OK with 7/8 win seasons

I wouldn’t write him off as a failure just yet. He’s not had the players, as a head coach, that he will at A&M. Also, he’s spent alot of time at a high-pressure program with his brother. Less risky than some of the other names mentioned.
