Ingram is one of those statistically-deceiving players in my opinion. I still like him and think he's definitely one of the really good Saints players in franchise history. The facts are he was drafted too early (not his fault), he had some nagging injuries early in his career (not his fault) so it seemed like his adjustment to the NFL took a bit long. Once he put it together he was really good. I always liked his personality and seemed like a great locker room asset.

The contract situation that detoured him to Baltimore and Houston was disappointing, but everything I've heard about that situation indicates he got some really bad advice from his agent. I also think he never should have been traded back to us, that was a really stupid deal on the part of the Saints.
