re: Most hated Christmas song

Actually, now that I have heard roughly 87 different cover versions of Last Christmas approximately 5,743 times in the last three weeks I am going to have to come up with a new pick for worst Christmas song because this is not a Christmas song. It is a breakup/heartache song. Just because Christmas is in the title doesn't mean the song has anything to do with Christmas. I'm going Steve Goodman here but there are no mentions of snow, chimneys, Santa Claus, Christmas trees, sleighs or sleigh bells, Christmas stockings, eggnog, holly, wreaths, snowmen, reindeer, Christmas carols, or holidays. It makes me hate the song even more but I admire the marketing. They had to know this song would get shitloads of airplay during the holidays by giving it this title even though it actually has nothing to do with a holiday.
