I like Nagle a lot but what was the deal with Svoboda? He just leave to sit out the year?

Would hate to lose him but totally understand. This is good timing for Nagle to make the jump and take the Arkansas job. Would be a huge get for y’all

So 'word is' Nagle called plays last year and Svoboda just kinda helped him learn how to be an O.C. Now if you were to look at last year and this year you clearly see a drop off even though the talent at WR improved. I realize that losing Tyjae Spears is tough to overcome but pass plays seem to either be short 'safe' passes to the TE or deep passes to our WRs. We have really good speed at wr yet Slade seems to only think speed works by going deep.
I think Svoboda did a lot of the work and gave Slade the play sheet on game day to call plays.
Nagle needs to be replaced the second the season ends.
