re: Any old timers remember the LSU-Tulane wheelbarrow parades in Garyville?

There used to have the wheelbarrow parades in Slidell also. When I was a teenager I had to help my Dad push my uncle around in the wheelbarrow. My uncle had been a lineman for Tulane. Thank the Lord in heaven above that every other year it was my uncle doing the pushing!!
