It’s like being genuinely angry when an another team got NCAA infractions for impermissible benefits. You can laugh at them, but you know every damn team out there is doing it.

I think “stealing” signs is a weak form of cheating any way. You still have to stop them.

Which is much easier to do when you know what play they are running.

Michigan is 24-1 in the Big Ten since the cheating started.
Prior to the cheating they were ready to run Harbaugh out of town.

Obviously it works, which is why they did it and why there is a rule against it.

People are confusing "stealing signs", which everyone attempts to do, with sending employees to the games of future opponents & video recording their signs to reverse engineer their signs.

It works, why do you think that there is a rule against it ?

I always like to remind people that a D3 team had to vacate a NC because the head coach self reported letting a player drive his 20 year old Subaru a couple of times.

Didn’t think anything about it and said “crap” and turned it in with other non players saying he had leant it to them as well.

Didn’t matter. NC vacated.
