re: Got stung by a red velvet ant today

I remember seeing these as a kid and we were all amazed at how tough they were. We’d step and stomp on them over and over and it barely even phased them. I do t remember what we used to call them though, and that’s gonna drive me crazy.

Those things were no joke though. I can’t imagine how bad their stings hurt.

We may have called them bullet ants..??

ETA: definitely was cow ant.
