2 things can be true at once: Floyd was drugged out of his mind. Chauvin also pretty clearly choked him out. That knee to the throat was no doubt excessive.

And Chauvin was over the top with his actions.

Floyd would not have died without the police doing that to him. He also likely wouldn’t have died if he was sober.

I like how the media fear mongers about fentanyl and says that one drop in the water supply is enough to kill everyone in DFW but when George Floyd is baked on it it has nothing to do with his death.

im ok with Chauvin spending the rest of his sentence in jail considering all the cops that have gotten away with legit murder or severe physical assault.
