We really don’t know how good the Pac 12 is. For that matter we don’t know how good the big 10 is either. They’re playing each other.

Compare against top 50 defenses. Jayden wins in a landslide

Nix has played 1 top 50 defense all year, and 8 that are 93rd in scoring or worse. 4 defenses that are ranked 124th or worse (out of 133). Daniels’ numbers are still better.

Daniels has also had a 91.7 QBR in LSU’s losses. In Bo Nix's loss to Washington his QBR was 81.1.

It’s simple:

Daniels came to the SEC because he wanted to compete. Nix left the SEC so he could compete.

Isn’t Nix a 6th year senior? Guy is much older than most players he is playing against and has a lot of experience. I’m sure that has helped.

I just thought the rushing comparison wasn’t very good.

The rushing comparison is the difference. Their passing stats are similar but JD separates himself with his rushing. If you're saying it's unfair to compare JD and Nix's rushing stats bc Nix is a "pass first QB" then Nix should have significantly better passing numbers than JD. But he doesn't.

And for the guy above. JD and Bo Nix graduated high school the same year.

And again the Pac 12 wasn't the shite show this year that it normally is and the SEC had a down year. The conferences are closer in competition this year than they normally are. JD still played a tougher schedule but it's not as much of a difference as some people are making it.

You don’t remember him running circles around LSU’s defense in 2021?

Yet a kid on Washington State is putting up similar numbers. 3 of the 4 top passers are from the same conference. That’s not a coincidence, defense is optional there.

This has more to do with his head coach at Oregon being one of the best offensive minds in CFB

What? Nix isn’t a running QB.

he isn’t a better passer though.

Penix, Daniels and Nix are all sorta on the same block in passing yards.

they aren’t on the same planet in rushing yards.

Penix at least throws the ball down the field. Nix is dinking it

Alabama's and Georgia's Defensive Front are no longer a concern for Bo Nix

Arizona state was a terrible team besides his play. I was skeptical when he came over…. Figured he’d add to the qb room. He took it over. Curious the difference between nix and Daniels is over 20 yards passing…. Don’t know the answer but that would gauge who’s better.

Have you looked at the opponents of Oregon? They have played 1 game against a meaningful opponent and lost. I'm not sure you realize the flaw in your argument. They have the 62nd strength of schedule that is not exactly "tough" competition.

Even though I don’t want to see it I really do. I would love for a shut show to happen and bama and Georgia both to get into the playoffs and run the table.

I really can’t wait for next year I hope the 12 team playoffs exposes a lot of these other conferences and sec has like 3-4 teams advance round 1

I tend to think the playoffs will want to avoid this and put the round 1 games in the same conference to avoid that, which is wrong, it should go based on the rankings and I hope voters don’t influence the rankings to pit certain teams against eachother

Sec is down this year. Jayden played against air except for 2 games. Let’s be honest
