Supposedly Little has added a cutter to his arsenal.

After three years of struggling in college ball fans are ready to give up on him. However, the MLB still has a decent amount of faith in his potential. He is a pitcher to keep an eye on.

Little’s new look is led by the emergence of a new pitch in his arsenal: a cutter. At 87-90 mph, his cutter moves like a fastball and breaks like a slider, creating a deadly pitch for batters. Little can control his cutter to his liking, throwing it anywhere from 85-91 mph.

Article from the Reveille Oct. 20th 2023.

I will take your word for it though. You know more about LSU baseball and probably baseball period, for that matter, then some of these article writers.

Thanks for the updates. I was going to come out but have some family in town.

Yea. He threw mostly cutters last season around 89-90 velo. Seems to be using that 4 seam more this fall. I went to the Kentucky game and was talking to a scout about that. He wasn’t understanding why they had him throwing so many cutters when he has 95 in the tank. Yeskie may be working on using the heater more and working off of that. His velo has seemed consistently higher than last season this fall.

Top 4 and Moffett has entered the game…FB 96

Kling K looking on outside corner FB
Mitchell pop up to Milazzo behind plate
Neal fly out to LF

Moffett effectively Wild I guess I’d say. Looked like Nuke Lakoosh but got the job done. Batters were NOT comfortable in the box.
