In fairness, JD is being penalized by the worst defense in program history. Maybe there was little that could be done given the absolute mess that that fool Special Ed left behind. That said, Daniels has made the most of this opportunity to his enormous credit. He should win the Heisman.

helped a lot in the 15-0 stat

Also Joe Brady, Steve Emsminger, Dave Aranda, John Robinson... even *gasp* Orgeron. Definitely a team effort to produce those results

Why does anyone think he will turn it around at this point? I hope Walker Howard is the real deal next year.

I still think the leadership between the two is very different.
JD - light hearted and fluffy but an assassin on the field.
Defense is weak and seams to miss the heart needed to compete. Does this correlate? Maybe.
Joe- Insanely competitive at all times and the whole team played like it.

Not saying JD should change who he is moving forward, but this game is as mental as physical so I’ll always take that edge Joe brought to his teams.
All seamed to come to light for us after that hit against UCF I. The bowl game and got the ball rolling before the offseason.
Defensive players love a tough assed QBs. Dude would fuk with Queen in practice, Joe takes no shite off anybody.
I mean Joe guy changed the Bengals demeanor enough to get them to an SB year 3 with what everyone thought were scrubs.
All Da sudden everyone plays at a high level believing they can win with him.

Joe will always be the Gold standard at LSU but JDs style has opened us up to a lot of athletic QBs who have game like JD.

No one knows that so that argument is out the window. For anyone to say they know for certain what dainels would’ve done with the 2019 is a lie. ETA: one thing for certain is that we know what Joe Burrow did with the 2019 team and that’s go 15-0 AND win the national championship. Oh, and I do believe he also won the heisman trophy as well.

Why are you being a dickhead about this and taking it so personally? This is fricking stupid. They are both great QBs. Burrow obviously had a much better team around him, especially on defense.

No one eats their own better than this fricking fanbase.

Daniels has standing in moral personhood not because he is a great college QB. Are we not more than what we do? Few understand this. JD seems to enjoy life for its own sake. Should we not all follow suit?

I bet he wants to play in any bowl game LSU has. Here's wishing him a career game against the Aggies.

The 2019 defense was probably ranked in the 50’s before the TAMU game. It ended up in the 30s.
It did not set the world on fire.

I love both QB's and are fantastic!
But if Joe had this years defense his numbers would have been truly even more astronomical than they were. He'd have had so many more possessions with this crap defense.
