I would say Jimi Hendrix was one of the most influential, maybe the most influential, guitarist ever, but he’s not the best technical guitarist. There are too many to name, but some examples of better technical guitarists are Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Dimebag Darrell, Nuno Bettencourt, and Eddie Van Halen.

Dimebag Darrell was extremely underrated. Pantera was never my cup of tea, but I could recognize his talent.
Wish Nuno would get more love, actually as well.
Been listening to Matteo Mancuso. Kid from Palermo absolutely can shred it and is technically outstanding
