What side effects do y’all keep talking about? I haven’t really noticed anything but maybe I’m missing something or I’m just immune

Leg cramping and liver toxicity to name a few

Of course, for repatha to work, you must also take a statin with it.

Not true. I can’t take statins due to side effects, and Repatha dropped my cholesterol 80 points in six weeks. Wasn’t on anything prior to starting it.

Well...that is good. It didn't work without statins for me. When the doc saw I my ldl didn't get any lower and he saw that I wasn't on a statin. He said, "oops, you gotta have a statin with this." Thats when my ldl (and chol) plummeted. I believe the lit also said a statin was needed, but I haven't reread it in a few years, it may be different now.

Leg cramping..had that with 3 different statins. With repatha, i take a really low dose and haven't experienced it again. Usually a physician will switch you if your legs are cramping, obviously something a person needs to tell their MD.
