Mine too. But only bc this recent weather is preventing me from having to use it. Otherwise, it would still be high.

I don't pay attention to how much I pay for health INS, but the girls at my work with family are upset their premiums went up $1K+/yr

Is this the gaslighting where they remove items from this list like food and shelter? That's what they did last time.
Such is "journalism" when a Progressive is president.

Good news, inflation is over. Ignore that everything is up 50% from 2 years ago.

Prices will never fall all the way back down

There’s another one!

quote:Yes, it is, which was my point replying to the poster who said his most recent electricity bill was higher than the month before.
My latest electricity/gas bill (month of October) was lower by more than 50% from September.
Isn't that normal for you know, fall weather?

You sound like you work for Entergy. It's always the consumers fault for high bills, not their inadequate infrastructure, ridiculous fees, and charging the consumer for their maintenance.

Prices will never fall all the way back down or, perhaps, not fall much at all...corporations are gonna corporation.
Wtf is this supposed to mean? Yeah the first part is right, but the second part shows you don’t actually know what you are talking about.

So we are supposed to be happy that inflation didn’t go up another 8% over the previous month
Yes? I certainly don't want it to keep going like that? That doesn't mean you have to be happy with the previous period of inflation though.

Until it gets back down to where it was before Pedo Joe took office I will not be happy.
I've got bad news for you then.

First of all they ain't up 50%. Second of all inflation slowing, as the link suggests is happening, is not deflation, which is what you are talking about.
I’m sure prices don’t matter since you live off of government checks.

I wouldn't want to be president right now. We got a mess.

The article says and the included graph shows that the CPI for all items is up 3.1% over last year, and the CPI less food and energy up 4%. Some of the posters are apparently saying that the media are excluding food and energy to make it look better. But that’s not true. Excluding those volatile commodities increases the CPI.
And don’t wish for negative inflation; for deflation; or prices to go down. That would mean that we’re in a recession, or worse.
