You child is with a infinitely loving God now. You may not know God, but you know Love, of the which God's Son and our 'Caretaker' Jesus Christ. You also know the pain that comes with love, as many of your Rant Brethren feel with you.

We are on an eternal path, and many things will shape our character toward refining it for a more perfect vision of Love and God. Jesus is duty-bound to lead us on that path. My most heartfelt advice is for you to go to a 'closet', or some powerful and beautiful place in your World, and invoke the Promise that Jesus offer to us all. Even though your Faith will be weak as you have never cultivated it, Jesus will take this into account and handle it.

This is one life out of eternity. And "the hairs on your head are numbered" such that "all things happen for the good of them that love God". John Emery's leg snapped for a reason, though that is nothing like your pain, it's big for him. Warrior through it, and you and those around you will be well rewarded for you struggles.
