I have watched Penn State 3-4 times this season and have been struck by how bad their offense is against good opponents. Their offense lacks any real sense of innovation and strikes me as very predictable. This is probably a necessary move by Penn State if they hope to get better.

They need to fire the DC. Michigan ran 32 straight times on them. That's like 1890 football and they couldn't stop it.

It's vital for recruiting to fire coaches now because of early signing period.

LSU may be in serious trouble. Why would a recruit want to play for House. Sends a bad message that LSU is not serious about fixing the Defense

BK loves him some shitty defense. It’s on the players, not his coaches

Is Coach Pete just working with the DL or is he an over all analyst?

The PennSt offense is other worldly bad. It was difficult to watch. BUT, James Franklin made some knuckle headed decisions yesterday. I don’t understand goin for 2 toward the end of the game after the last TD. Yes, they needed to go for 2 at some point. But he jeopardized keeping it a one possession game by going for 2 when he did. And sure enough, they didn’t get it keeping the game at a 9 point deficit. Kick the EP and go for 2 if you score again. Mentally, you’re keeping the team in it by keeping it a 1 possession game. He didn’t do that.

Who on the defensive staff is going to call plays? You live with it until November 25th and then cut bait. I’m sure LSU is going through the back channels to vet candidates now.

Because who are you going to replace him with? 9-3 sounds better than 8-4

Would it have been that hard to add “our defensive coordinator”?

You even edited and added “and im not talking about our offensive coordinator.”

I mean the whole thread checks out so I’m not that surprised.

Because firing him now does nothing. No other DC will interview before the end of the season. BK shows loyalty which is something coordinators look for. House will find a job in the nfl and “leave” on his own after the season.

For the love of god

House will not be back next year.
Firing him now does nothing to help the team over the last couple of games.

Stop acting like a bunch of babies and suck it up for a few more games.
