Yea. The reason for the worry here is the magma intrusion is right up underneath a town that’s near the capital city and it could be explosive I.E not just lava seeping out but an actual violent explosion

I don't known that you can really say Grindavic is "near" Reykjavik. It is 25 miles from the capitol city. The concern, and the evacuation order, is for Grindavic where a magmatic channel has likely formed under the city.
