It can clearly be done, that is what makes this situation so bad. Mid Major McMahon is crying about this really being his first year and last year didn’t count.
What is even more frustrating is we definitely putting NIL money on the table because he just landed two top 50 players. He swung at others last year, but he cannot close.

I’m willing to give one more year, since he has a nice freshman class put together, but half our team will be gone again as we have 5 seniors plus whoever decides to transfer

Legendary DA Alleva NOT hiring Tony Bennett when he was a young UP AND COMER at Washington State back when LDAA hired Trent Johnson.
LDAA not hiring 2-Time NBA HC Eric Musselman from Nevada right after Joneshoyang got fired. Musselman had just taken the Nevada job after stagnating on the bench under Joneshoyang.

Last year we were competitive. There was something sketch going on.
This year, we are not very good at all. Nichols may be really good but we were down nearly 30 last night. We switched defensive strategy and came back but didn’t have the horsepower to put Nichols away.

Baseball lost a ton of talent off the 2001 team, Skip’s last year. Smoke took the team to the Super’s his first year and Omaha the next two. You can’t say he was a bad hire. Anybody that followed Skip was going to have a bad time, especially with Skip himself looking over their shoulder as AD.
