A couple things will keep you out of trouble in politics.
-once you reach a certain level of government, you become almost untouchable
- look a certain way
-have so much dirt on powerful people that they would not dare try you because they don’t want to go down also

Because according to her and her entire party it was caused by a "youtube video".
That was her first instinct, to blame a youtube video. That's how cold that woman is.
Ironically it was also one of the first shots at starting the conversation about controlling social media.
Hillary couldn't care less about dead people, it was about saving her arse and seeking more power/control.

She was supposed to be the next president of the United States so the media protected her from what amounted to multiple counts of negligent homicide.
In addition there was an illicit gun running operation over there that needed to be swept under the rug which added to the pressure for the story to just go away.

I was working as a legislative assistant for Scalise at the time this happened. What a fricking shitshow. Total breakdown of chain of command. Could’ve saved American lives with a QRF out of Italy or Africa.
State department denied multiple requests for hardening of the consulate and marine detail before the attacks. They thought a 6 man DSS detail and local militia was sufficient to protect an ambassador in a country in the midst of a civil war.

It just dawned on me how similar Benghazi debacle was to Mogadishu Black Hawk Down. One happened on Hillary's watch while the other was on Bill Clinton time.
Crazy how similar both events blew up out of nowhere at a time the Clinton's needed some media and political distraction.

I’ve watched that movie a half dozen or more times. I’m ready for it again.
It infuriates me every time. I want people to be held accountable. I’m still waiting, and still hopeful.
If not in this lifetime, maybe the next one?
