I once sent a message to Steve Shaw when he was the head of SEC Officiating and accused them of using outcome based officiating. Basically they call the game in order to get the outcome they wanted. He got so mad he called me to discuss it and wanted me to give him examples. Sure thing:

The PP7 non INT
The jumping from the pile extra point penalty that was never called again.
The mugging of Doucet in the Interference game.
etc…….

He spent about 30 minutes trying to argue with me about calls. It was a worthless conversation. He was never going to admit to bias in officiating and I was never going to agree with him.

At least I pissed him off.

GRAND THEFT AUBURN game we call it

that was just 1 of 8 missed calls/no calls that game. DPI on lafell in EZ before half. complete pass to hester on 4th down for a 1st they called incomplete even after he took 2 steps with posession before fumbling OOB. defensive holding and DPI on doucet after ball was supposedly "tipped". when it was not. it was still defensive holding. this league is rotten to its core and they know it. until a coach wants to be a martyr and be black balled it will never stop. people have to get loud and blast the sec office non stop on all mediums. make sankey shite his pants. call that POS out also for allowing this. he is a no good snake.

look you know it is rigged when a mfing replay official cannot watch a TV and determine PP7 had a pick or that hester DID make the catch against auburn.

stevie wonder could see all that corruption. the SEC is a disgrace.

myself and my brother told mrs. sankey in atlanta for the SECCG in 2019 that birmingham was corrupt as hell. she got mad. we spoke with her by the sec network tent while her hubby was being interviewed by finebaum and tebow live. we were professional and polite by got the point across.

we rustled some serious jimmies. she knew we were right. she said oh there are plenty NON bama people working in the office. yeah ok whatever.

I do realize that Shaw was a Gump. That was part of my reasoning for the SEC’s use of outcome based officiating. We discussed him being an alum and his role and my opinion that he could not possibly be unbiased. He refused to see it.

I hope to never again hear the "SEC, SEC, SEC..." chant in Tiger Stadium or among LSU fans.
We are, at best, junior members of the conference.

Ask the $10M/yr man why that is.

It started long before the $10 mil ever thought about coming to LSU.
You must be new here.

100% and has been going on for years. Money is the driver the SEC needs to keep Bama up at the top for the money they bring in. Read the comments from other SEC coaches about how and when penalties are called at Bama. Sad but true. On the Milroe TD around the left side there were actually three blatant missed calls on Bama, look at the replay.

Why is this so vague? Why not say what part of Targeting it didn’t meet instead of hiding behind a blanket statement? Give some clarity and be transparent

Was it reviewed in real time at the game or not?

If it was reviewed, what was looked at? What did they see? Gene S in the booth disagreed so there is at least some vagueness or differing opinions

There would be no need to do this considering the commissioner office is in Birmingham

Harvard Alum actually.

I agree that the missed call was ridiculous, but no need to spread lies. As you can see by the number of upvotes you got, people on here will believe anything that fits their narrative.
