I’m watching tonight. How do the first two episodes compare to BoB and The Pacific’s first two?

Both episodes were solid
Those planes were a pile of crap and they basically had to duct tape them together after every run
it's remarkable how young these soldiers were that fought that war

A lot of the flight scenes brought back memories of Dunkirk with the really intricate details of the handling of the plane

I'd do my best to try and not compare.

Nothing like this will rival BoB. And The Pacific didn't hit with me near as much as BoB (likely because I was comparing and I shouldn't have been).

I only watched the first episode last night, but it was solid and really well done. It's crazy how air warfare used to be back then.

I'm sure I'm in the minority on this, but I don't find Austin Butler to be that great of an actor. Maybe it's just me.
