Lots of coverage about our OL not coming to JD5 after his injury and also multiple videos of our sideline being a bunch of light weight pussies in a huge game against Bama… no energy… unreal and very good pick up by cameras that you would not see otherwise.

This is troubling IMO… fight of the season against Bama and we have zero hype on the sideline.

I think the OL didn't get in Turner's face because Turner was lying on the turf, likely thinking he was about to be thrown out of the game. Maybe they would have reacted differently if he had been doing some kind of dance.

Kelly has gotten plenty of grief over his lifetime for his sideline melts. But, let's face it, once the ref told him it had been "reviewed," Kelly reasonably knew that it wasn't going to change and they had to move on in the moment.

I don’t understand this. What do you want the OL to do? Huddle around the fallen QB? I never see that. Players let the trainers do that.

Did you mean to say they should have confronted the guy who did it?If so, only one lineman knew what happened, and he was the guy who got beaten. He was probably too embarrassed to muster up a lot of anger at someone else.

Thus is what I don't get. It's not like the guys on the field saw the hit. They were all doing something else.

Didn’t Campbell get beat?

If memory serves, Jones was there around JD and immediately signaled to the sideline, almost simultaneously to Turner sitting/slowly getting up. Like others have said not sure what they want anyone to do other than react in away to get us penalized as well.

Pretty sure they were concerned about their QB being attended to. Not exactly the time to be jumping up and down screaming.

Maybe they were concerned if they reacted the crooked refs would have thrown a flag on them too and negated the penalty

SEC, when stating the correct call was made, also admitted it was never reviewed. Their reason? The corrupt refs didn't specifically call targeting, so they didn't have to review targeting.

It has been interesting watching the SEC go back and forth on this.

People often overlook this or think its false altogether. However, IMHO I believe this is HUGE in determining the mentality of a team. Look at UGA under Kirby and Bama under Saban. LSU was what Bama currently is when Saban was here. Miles got to a point where he could no longer field a competent offense but his defenses typically were very good and the entire team played with grit and played their hearts out for him. You need a certain "fire" to coach in the SEC.

I'm not saying BK can't win a title here but LSU has played several big games and only once have they played with an abundance of passion and grit. It goes beyond the defense being outright bad, they don't play with any heart. It's like they're just out there going through the motions. I think they've completely lost their confidence and there's a disconnect between the players and the coaching staff. When you're out of position as much as they are and have as many blown assignments, that's very indicative of not trusting the gameplan and trying to do your own thing.

Yes, I know I will get bashed for saying this, but IMO he is overrated. I can't stand the "war paint" especially from an offensive lineman on the face. Not by any means saying he is a bad player, but just isn't elite like made out to be. This is only my opinion I get it, and I'm still glad he's a tiger and has a great future ahead of him.

really....I only saw energy from our scrambling qb and a couple of plays by our receivers. Otherwise, lifeless and manhandled. LSU needs more Weeks!

You start by arguing that a team takes on the personality of the coach but end with the premise that the lack of emotion stems from not trusting the game plan. So which is it?

Any coach will tell you emotion only takes you so far. Once the adrenaline wears off you better be able to rely on your fundamentals.
