The sad thing is you think you are so smart because you can repeat what the men in makeup on TV tell you

The irony is thick with abortion. How many staunch pro lifers are ok with Israel currently stacking haji like cordwood? Or the US doing the same so long as they’re bad guys being stacked? How many staunch pro lifers used IVF to have a baby and had extra and/or defective embryos discarded in the process? I don’t get it. People are lazy and irresponsible and you will not change that with one to one thousand laws. Republicans are Fkn dumb.
The guy resorting to false dilemmas and more straw men calling some giant group of people (“all Republicans”) fkn dumb.

Yes, it is an issue when a candidate is asked if he supports a ban on abortion even in the case of saving the mother's life and he says yes.

Years ago (30+) a race for Governor of Virginia was between a black Democrat and an anti-abortion Republican.
I knew there'd be a problem when very conservative family members talked about holding their noses as they voted D. Strictly for the abortion question.

Ok so if it is less messy it’s less wrong? I’m not really sure what point you think you are making.
You either believe the unborn are people or they are not. You can dress it up with language that makes you feel better about it, but at the end of the day that’s the moral question.
Same argument was happening in the 1800s with slavery. Dems said they weren’t really people or they were less of people than everyone else. Abortion apologists are making the same “they’re not really people” argument today. It’s disgusting but it’s not surprising considering how dumb our society is these days.
When moral relativism is the dominant framework, you can justify anything. Moral relativism combined with our hyper individualistic, “whatever makes you happy” “free yourself of responsibility” and lastly victimhood culture, it’s really easy to see why so many blindly support killing the unborn out of convenience and selfishness.

Whether you agree with it or not, Republicans need to get out of the business of using the government to force their personal morality on everyone else.

If you were to look at it from a strictly white supremacist view, if black women account for 90% of all abortions then they'll remain at 13% or less. Looking at it from a GOP view. If crazy arse Dems account for the majority of white abortions, then their beliefs are not passed on to any off spring.

It’s a double-edged sword, and you’re right

Y’all boomers didn’t believe me. Gotta give up abortion and Christian talking points asap or the party is literally done. No educated person under 40 cares.
So you're saying we should just sell out our own beliefs?
If we do that then isn't the Party basically done for us?

I’m not really sure what point you think you are making.
E.g., Would you oppose abortion at 10 days?

I can't say I saw this coming, but looking at what's happening, I think you can craft the narrative as follows:
Prior to the repeal of RvW, people could ignore the anti-abortion prattle from the anti-abortion Republicans because they really couldn't do anything. Voters could ignore it and vote for that candidate based on other policy issues.
Now, these frickers can and have done something about it in a number of the states and voters can't ignore their abortion stances any longer. It matters and people are not going for the unreasonable full bans (Americans largely support limited abortion rights) and your seeing the affect.
Luckily for Republicans their likely presidential candidate isn't an anti-abortion fanatic, which is unusual for his party. I think it's part of his appeal in the swing states, or maybe not why he gets traction, but it's just not an issue for him.

It is basic humanist philosophy that all human life has value. That it happens to align with biblical views doesn't mean every idiot secularist has to oppose themselves to reject it.

They're killing plenty of innocent civilians
I'd imagine the amount of innocent people they're killing FAR outweighs the actual Hamas people tehy're killing

I thought it was off the ballot. Obviously not.
I’m hearing multiple states have petitions underway that will place it on the 2024 ballot.
It’s only going to get worse for 2024. And Dems will smartly get it front and center of every swing state.

It's not abortion. The party's position hasn't changed.

Thank you for trying to make a difference! Those on this board with no soul left criticize those that are working to save the unborn from death. Sad.....
