I’ll second and third the idea of stopping in Stowe. I’ll recommend Harrison’s and Idletyme.

EB Strong’s is a nice streakhouse in Burlington. And there is a fantastic flatbread restaurant in town as well, American Hearth, they also brew their own beer on-site. As for breakfast, head to Myer’s for some of the best bagels.

Just an FYI re: Burlington, crime has gone through the roof in recent times. It’s not third world country bad, but just something you need to pay attention to. Homelessness is a huge problem there now.

Woodstock is pretty much a tourist trap. But I was only there once and it was six years ago. Only recommendation I can offer is trying to find a cool show to see at Levon Helm Studios (home of the Midnight Ramble). Only a half an hour or so away is a town called Hudson. Way better food and bars.

Federal Hill is the Italian section of Providence. So many good places to pick from. Just find one that suits your fancy, but I’m sure your daughter knows some good spots and will already have her favorites.

Not sure if you need a hotel, but there’s a really fun one in Providence called The Graduate. There’s about 20+ of them now, all in and around colleges, but a cool place to stay.
