Are you the dude top of the LDWF Facebook calling for shorter seasons and lower limits while holding up a dead tight basket 2 y/o 8pt?

No, I mostly lurk. If I comment it's to say "Nice buck" on actual nice bucks.

Stuff like this though...

Got a nice lil 8pt yesterday afternoon in Winn parish 170 lbs

Same deer...

use this reasoning for opening weekend of dove season. Kill about 15 days worth in one weekend.

Well to be fair, that still might only equate out to a normal limit with your shooting abilities and whatnot.

Shooting deer like those you posted is the typical way for a lot of folks. By all means, shoot whatever your heart desires so long as it is legal. However, a lot of those folks are the same ones that complain about not having bigger deer.

The 8 is not a bad deer, but hardly internet worthy. 2nd one, baw is white trash through and through, and he'd kill it no matter what

I shot a basket 4 just like that a couple weeks ago.
First legal buck of the year.
He turned into 23 pounds of fine Jerky about a week later.
Need one more kinda any size for Burger and Sausage then I'll either Horn Hunt or go for 2 hogs.

That first one looks more like 130 pounds.

170? Not so sure.

I'm definitely not great at aging deer, but that eight looks like a 2 year old baby, I would not have shot it. The white trash boy is holding up what looks like a long nose deer that is older than the eight point but still a spike. I would put an arrow through it if given the chance.

The spike might be an 8pt next year. would it have mattered? Does the blew-eyed dude desire to be Jim Shockey of CENLA? Is he building a outdoor brand via YouTube? So as I say, wgaf what others shoot.
