Hog hunting, tired of them eating all the corn. Hate these bastards. Hadn’t seen a thing.

Toledo bend on Texas side in the forest.

57 light breeze

Franchi momentum elite .308

Now that it’s deer season, the squirrels are a plenty. Deer don’t exist in the forest. But I love being out here.

Afternoon sit with my oldest son (12). He is on the trigger (.260) and looking for horns or swine. Somewhere West of Houston.
Sweating balls.
Saw 3 different bucks on the way in. Hopefully a good one will give us an opportunity.
Good luck everyone.

No more hunting for us today. Watching the last race of the year and grilling a pork loin.
Good luck to those getting after them.

Had 2 does come out on a road crossing my food plot/lane in the woods. They caught wind of me or something and bolted, not to be seen again.

Oh well, maybe next weekend.
