It seems that Desantis made a very bad decision to go the route he went. If he had gone as more of a moderate Republican he would have gotten the great number of republicans that just do not want Trump. He should have painted himself as “better option “ then Trump and just was not able to do that. He got killed and labeled very early on and that narrative has never stopped. He also should not have run with trump running unless choosing the more moderate path.
