In English, Jesus (who was reforming Second Temple Judaism) never said it. I was a brilliant bit of marketing by old Paul.

It goes all the way back to Paul deciding that non-Jewish converts need not be circumcised. Lots easier to get converts, when you don't demand that they slice their weiners. That was some creative "theology," and it set the tone for the next two thousand years.

Not really. Many of these gotchas are easily explained by theologians. If one would care to investigate or spend time having questions answered.

Please enlighten us on who the Bible is referencing then. Since Mike and I are aligned on this point and religious wackos, I really want to hear who you say God was talking about. If it's not the Jewish nation and current day nation of Israel then who is under the Abrahamic Covenant?

Bro, come on. That particular verse was written retrospectively and not prospectively.

Oh, okay. I’d like to see Carlson get a beat down. He’s trashy and a constant liar. I’m pretty sure the solution is for us not to pay much attention to the comments that offend us that much.

What they mock is my core values. Our constitution was God inspired with judeo- Christian principles.
Pray for those who mock God. They’ll need mercy!

There was noting Judeo about the Constitution. The term "Judeo-Christian" was not even used until the late 19th century. It's part and parcel of Scofield Dispensationalism.

So, it is acceptable to mock religion, so long as it is not YOUR religion on the receiving end, right? 'Cause YOUR religion is the "true" one?

Ironic coming from you, Hank.

You waste no opportunity on this board to criticize Christians as simple, ignorant Hillbillies while white-knighting for islam and muslims at every opportunity.

You are an idiot a liar AND a hypocrite apparently.

No, we're tired of dishonest, hypocritical idiots like you.

You criticize Christians for being offended when their religion is insulted, yet you constantly white-knight for muslims who would MURDER any of these "brave" comedians if they dared to criticize islam.

Hint: These pretentious azzholes WON'T insult islam because, like you, they KNOW these savages would kill them and their family without hesitation for doing so.

Hank, you suck no matter what current alter you might be using...

Nobody reallylooks to late- night tv hosts for any type of guidance or advice. It’s all for entertainment.
People are free not to watch.

Theologians are just lawyers using different reference books. A good one can construct an argument in support of any position that you might want to present. That does not make it "right." Just "supportable."
