I’ll be shocked if Williams isn’t starting.
Bold take: Mikaylah Williams will be 2nd leading scorer and low key best player going into March.
The return of Reese along with the transfers has a lot of people sleeping on just how special she is.

The main issue I see is who is going to play PG and who Kim feels most comfortable with there. Van Lith is probably more of a natural two guard IMO. If she slides over to the 2 and Poole starts at PG, who sits (Johnson or Williams). Not an easy decision to make.

HVL came to LSU to learn the PG position. She will still play some off ball but one of her main reasons for coming was to show she can play PG and get teammates involved while also still having the ability to score.

Reese and Morrow are great rebounders and scorers. Other 3 needed for defense and scoring. Flaujae was the best on the court last night. Coach said scoring is not a problem, it's conditioning and defense. Last night's game was sloppy, both offense and defense, too many turnovers, free throw shooting not so good. Coaching staff will go over films. But it's the first exhibition game, lots of jitters, lots of newcomers. Coach will have them ready when season starts.
