You know what would help for much cheaper. Stop 18 wheelers from trying to get all the way to the left lane between Washington and Acadian. They all think they need to be in the left lane to go to I12 and then can't keep up with traffic.

Can put up signs, but it would be impossible to enforce in a sustainable way.

But I agree, hypothetically, if this behavior changed it would help a ton. It's not just 18 wheelers. Maybe they put lane divider walls to keep people to the right for a little while, idk.
