Downtown Dallas (Hotel Indigo)

We have a small group (4) traveling from Bucktown to downtown Dallas early Friday for a long weekend centered around a Saturday night concert.
We are seeking and thankful for recommendations for dinner reservations, preferably (1) within walking, or at least short Ubering distance; (2) upscale casual, something in the ballpark of Peche (though not necessarily the same cuisine - we are flexible); and (3) where reservations are likely to be available. Other suggestions that fit less than all, and possibly none of the above criteria are welcome.
Relatedly, we are looking for a brewery or multiple breweries in the same area we can consider after golfing Saturday morning, after returning to the hotel to regrettably retrieve the wives.
All input is appreciated regarding any or all of the above. Much abliged.

Was in downtown Dallas last month. If you like BBQ, Terry Blacks and Pecan Lodge are very close.

I would send you to Bishop Arts which is about 10 minutes away from your hotel. Its a very walkable area full of bars and restaurants. Boulevardier, Zen Sushi, Cretias and Stock & Barrell are all good. For pre or post dinner drinks, Revelers Hall (NOLA style Jazz place), Atlas or 13 Barrels....or all 3 as they are just steps from each other.
For breweries, there are several in the area such as Deep Ellum Brewery, Texas Ale Project, Peticolas and Community which all brew mediocre beers but have decent atmospheres. Manhattan Project is what I would recommend as their beers are solid and their space, tucked away in an old 1940's warehouse area is really nice. The brewery doing the best beers, but they do mostly Haze, is Celestial which is in the area too. The crowd there skews young and their space has kind of a "hip" character to it.
